This leather NIJ-IIIa bulletproof jacket can be worn in the winter time because of the added NIJ micro fiber liner panels make it extra warm.

Kevlar tends to absorb 3.5% of its own weight in water while UHMWPE (Dyneema) absorbs no water, maintaining its performance in humid or wet conditions. Kevlar is considered 7 times stronger than steel, while Dyneema is 15 times stronger than steel, making it the world's strongest fiber.
 We only use UDPE Bulletproof micro fibers unlike our competitors which use a cheaper older outdated kevlar
